Warzone expert WhosImmortal has revealed which Modern Warfare weapon is the best choice after the Season 5 update.

With Season 5 significantly altering the Warzone meta, Call of Duty expert WhosImmortal has revealed the best Modern Warfare weapon for players to use after the update.

Warzone Pacific players have been wondering which weapons are now meta after the Season 5 update brought numerous weapon buffs and nerfs along with new guns like the RA 225 SMG.

There are plenty of powerful Modern Warfare weapons to choose from in the game, and Warzone expert WhosImmortal has revealed the best one to try out during Season 5.

On September 13, WhosImmortal went over his selection of the best Modern Warfare guns, including the RAM-7, PKM, M4A1, and Bruen Mk9. The number one spot on his list went to the Grau 5.56.

This Assault Rifle has grown in popularity after it received buffs to its max damage, damage range, and neck damage multiplier in Season 5. The Warzone expert described it as the “greatest weapon of all time.”

WhosImmortal uses the standard attachments that are commonly found on the best Grau 5.56 Warzone loadout. The Tempus 26.4″ Archangel barrel boosts the damage range and firepower, and the Tac Laser helps with aiming stability.

He uses both of these attachments because they are “absolutely perfect” for medium-range fights in both Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep. However, he recommends switching things up on Caldera.

When engaging in long-range battles, you can equip the FSS 20.8″ Nexus barrel to increase the weapon’s damage range and bullet velocity. You can also swap the Tac Laser with the VLK 3.0x Optic to pick off enemies from a distance.

With these attachments equipped, the Grau 5.56 Assault Rifle is capable of going toe-to-toe with some of the best Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard weapons in the game.

Warzone 2 arrives soon after Modern Warfare 2, so here’s everything we know about the sequel to CoD’s popular battle royale.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is officially on the way, so here’s everything you need to know about Modern Warfare 2’s new battle royale including the release date, gameplay, Al Mazrah map, platforms, and more.

Call of Duty: Warzone has changed significantly since its March 2020 release, with the game receiving every weapon from Black Ops Cold War as well as Vanguard, Verdansk getting nuked, and the setting now taking place in the Pacific.

That version of Warzone is being left behind with Modern Warfare 2, as Infinity Ward are bringing ‘Warzone 2.0’ later this year. The new battle royale was finally unveiled at the Call of Duty Next event, so here’s everything you need to know including the release date, Al Mazrah map, gameplay, platforms, and more.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is the sequel to CoD’s hit battle royale, an entirely new game that brings Warzone to the brand new Al Mazrah map with new weapons, vehicles, Operators, the Gulag 2.0, and new mechanics.

Warzone 2 was built alongside Modern Warfare 2, featuring “Modern Warfare II content and systems with brand-new progression and inventories.”

Activision have confirmed that Warzone 2 will release on November 16, 2022, roughly three weeks after Modern Warfare 2’s October 28.

November 16 will mark the start of Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 and bring the highly anticipated DMZ mode alongside Warzone 2.

Although heavily leaked, Infinity Ward finally unveiled Warzone 2’s Al Mazrah map at Call of Duty Next. The biggest Warzone map yet, Al Mazrah takes players to Western Asia and includes classic maps from the Modern Warfare series.

While exploring Al Mazrah players will be able to find classic Call of Duty maps such as Showdown, Terminal, Quarry, Highrise, and Dome. The map also takes advantage of Modern Warfare 2’s swimming mechanics, so the rivers and ocean are all traversable via swimming or boat.

Another brand-new Warzone 2 mechanic is how the circle will behave on Al Mazra. There will now be several circles dividing players across the map before coming together for the end game.

Warzone 2 is similar to the original Warzone but features some brand-new mechanics to shake up the gameplay.

You’ll still be fighting to be the last man standing in Warzone 2, but the way you loot, acquire loadout weapons and fight in the Gulag have all received major changes. Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone 2’s gameplay.

Infinity Ward have made the controversial decision to remove Loadout Drops, giving players access to their custom weapons through ‘The Shop’ instead. There will no longer be any Perks in Warzone whatsoever, and you must either scavenge or purchase your equipment separately.

However, the new Strongholds mechanic allows players to pick up one of their custom weapons for free. These areas will be polluted with the new AI, so fight through them and get beyond the locked door and your next custom loadout weapon will be free from The Shop.

Warzone 2 has also shaken up how players will loot their gear around the map, bearing more of a resemblance to Blackout or PUBG than the original Warzone.

Weapons, Equipment, and Self Revives will no longer pop out of Supply Boxes, instead, players have to access a menu where they can pick out their items.

Your loot will be divided between your loadout and your Backpack, which is used to carry items such as Armor Plates, ammo, and extra Equipment. You can also loot other players’ Backpacks too, so you don’t need to worry about sorting through a huge pile of loot.

The Gulag has also undergone a massive change with Warzone 2, where players will now fight 2v2 with a temporary teammate, and scavenge for weapons and Equipment found throughout the area.

There’s also an AI Jailer, and after he’s killed he will drop a key. The first team to pick up the key and carry it to one of the doors will win the escape, winning the Gulag.

The Gulag is the perfect place to use Warzone 2’s new proximity chat feature as well.

Warzone 2 players can also find AI scattered all over the map, dropping weapons and providing bonus XP. They don’t have much health nor deal much damage, but content creators playing at Call of Duty Next complained that they made things too confusing.

Furthermore, Call of Duty devs have confirmed that the RICOCHET anti-cheat system will be available in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 at launch. This should provide a fresh opportunity for players looking to play a cheater-free battle royale from the start.

Warzone 2 will be released on both current and last-gen consoles, as well as Battle.net and Steam for PC. Following in Modern Warfare 2’s footsteps, Warzone 2 will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Activision confirmed the news on June 8 as they look to provide a wide-reaching experience across both titles.

Activision have confirmed that Warzone will continue to exist after Warzone 2 is released: “Warzone will continue as a separate experience that will include a continuation of player progression and inventories within that Warzone experience.”

Here’s the right attachments, Perks, and Equipment to make the best loadout class for the XM4 Assault Rifle in Warzone Pacific Season 5.

The XM4 can dish out some serious pain with the right loadout, and here are the ideal attachments, Perks, and Equipment needed for the best XM4 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 5.

The XM4 Assault Rifle, modeled after the original Black Ops’ Commando, is a medium to long-range weapon perfect for your primary Assault Rifle or as an accompaniment to a Sniper Rifle in Warzone.

While it isn’t one of the most popular weapons in Season 5, you can still use the XM4 to cause mayhem with the right attachments, Perks, and Equipment selected.

Here’s the best XM4 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 5.

We’ll start off this Warzone loadout by boosting the XM4’s bullet velocity and damage range with the help of the Agency Suppressor muzzle and 13.5″ Task Force barrel. The muzzle’s sound suppression will keep your shots hidden from enemy minimaps.

Next, we’ll bring the weapon’s recoil under control with the Field Agent Grip, and you can use the Axial Arms 3x optic to pick off enemies from a distance since the XM4’s iron sights are obtrusive.

Finally, we’ll cap off this loadout with the 45 RND magazine to ensure that the weapon has plenty of ammo to take down multiple enemies across Caldera, Fortune’s Keep, and Rebirth Island.

We recommend equipping E.O.D as your first Perk to help you withstand explosive damage from grenades and thermites. Overkill will allow you to get two primary weapons from your loadout so that you can pair the XM4 with an SMG like the Marco 5.

Finally, Amped will allow you to quickly switch between your two weapons. Regarding our choice of equipment, we went with the Throwing Knife to finish downed enemies quickly and the Stim to get a health boost.

To unlock the XM4 Assault Rifle for the best Warzone XM4 loadout, you’ll have to make sure you reach level 4 in Warzone or Black Ops Cold War.

This is very easy and will be accomplished within a game or two. The main takeaway is it gets you to level up the XM4 quicker and get your attachments sooner.

If you’re looking for a great alternative then we recommend trying out the Cooper Carbine which is an extremely easy weapon to handle. The STG44 currently holds the number one spot in the Assault Rifle meta, so give that a go as well.

Infinity Ward deliver meta-changing movement mechanics in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, but can you still slide cancel?

Slide canceling has been a vital movement technique since Modern Warfare launched in 2019, but October 28’s Modern Warfare 2 brings major movement changes. We’re breaking down whether you can slide cancel in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

Modern Warfare 2019 brought the slide canceling mechanic to the meta, where players can quickly cancel the slide animation to reset their tactical sprint and break other players’ camera. It’s been one of the most powerful movement techniques ever since, but that’s set to change in Modern Warfare 2.

There have been a ton of rumors surrounding its removal in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, and we finally have confirmation after content creators and pros played the games early at the Call of Duty Next reveal event.

Content creators playing at Call of Duty Next confirmed that no, you can’t slide cancel in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. You’ll still be able to slide but it’s much more of a commitment as you can’t stop it early, your Operator will continue sliding until the animation is over.

Top Warzone pro Aydan showed off the mechanic during Call of Duty Next, showing that the Operator will just continue to slide, making it more of a high-risk maneuver. JoeWo, sometimes called Warzone’s ‘Movement King,’ tweeted that it’s “all slide no cancel.”

Instead, Infinity Ward have brought back the Dolphin Dive mechanic in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. By holding the crouch button, players will quickly leap forward into the prone position. Whether this will become a meta movement mechanic remains to be seen, but it could potentially be used to break cameras.

That’s not the only new movement mechanic either, as players can now hang off a ledge to peek over it, and can even fire their pistol if they have one equipped.

Rumors suggest that slide canceling’s fate isn’t decided once and for all though, as the devs will reportedly use beta feedback to decide its return.
